Making her return to the States, Cheryl Cole
was spotted arriving at LAX International Airport in Los Angeles, California last night (July 7).
Joined by her Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh, Cheryl put on a brave smile as she strolled through the terminal, surrounded by shutterbugs.
Cheryl is back in the USA to fulfill her obligations with FOX for the American version of “The X Factor,” despite the fact that she was booted from the judges’ panel earlier this year.
And she may even show up on the program later in the season. An insider told press, “There is a long-standing plan in place for Cheryl to return to the show in time for the live finals. There is a fifth guest judging role there – and Simon Cowell would love for her to take it.”

Making the most of her time across the pond, Selena Gomez was spotted out in London, England yesterday afternoon (July 7).
The “Ramona & Beezus” babe made her exit from her luxury hotel with an MCM bag in her hands, hiding from the paparazzi behind a pair of black sunglasses.
In a recent interview, Selena chatted about her new album When the Sun Goes Down that recently debuted at #4 in the Billboard Hot 200 Albums Chart.
"I wanted to age it up a little bit and I really wanted it to be different and fun. It's kind of a little bit European sounding too with the repetitive fun beats, baselines and things we've added. The lyric content is really fun, kind of cheeky and different for me. The imaging and artwork was really fun and I got to experiment with different eras, got to have wigs and wear crazy make-up!"
As for her single “Who Says,” Selena shared, "Originally I wasn't even going to put out a third record because I was finishing Wizards of Waverly Place and going on tour. I wanted to do a single and I heard 'Who Says' and loved it and really wanted that song. The reaction it got was really great. It's really inspiring to me just to sing and then to see how my fans have reacted and the stories I've heard has been really amazing. I wanted to make a whole album that made people feel that way. 'Who Says' is very inspirational.”

Adding to the list of celebrities with drunk driving convictions, Ryan Rottman was pulled over in Hollywood last night (July 7).
The “Gigantic” guy was observed driving erratically through Tinseltown and when cops pulled him over they detected a strong odor of alcohol, reports TMZ.
Rottman failed a field sobriety test and was subsequently arrested and taken into custody. After being booked and thrown in jail to sober up, Ryan was released without bail.
Late last week, Ryan was seen having a wonderful time with Victoria Justice on a carefree summertime bike ride in Los Angeles.

Taking rumor control into her own hands - or face rather, the 25-year-old stunner posted four pictures on her page last night (July 7) under the headline "Things You Can't Do With Your Face When You Have Botox."
Making sure to prove her no-plastic surgery point, Megan made several expressions, including wrinkling her forehead, scrunching her face into a deep frown, showing off a shocked face and looking into the camera while arching an eyebrow.
Fox's social media photo-ops come after the promo video for her Giorgio Armani Summer 2011 beauty campaign, in which she offers up an array of different faces - from au natual to mega made-up glam.

On maintaining normalcy:
“One of my biggest fears is that my future kids won’t be able to experience simple things like going to a ball game or to Disney World because my job complicates things, but its more manageable when you’re not in Los Angeles or New York. I live in Boston, and there I’m just a guy who happens to act in his free time.”
On being approached:
“I’ve managed to somehow fly under the radar. I think I look a lot worse in person than I do on film, so people don’t recognize me. In real life, I’m actually a giant physical disappointment, which has worked in my favor.”

“I’m telling you the truth! I had people talking to me, looking at my face, say, ‘You’re not that guy. I’ve seen that guy. You’re not him.’”

She’s one of Hollywood’s most talented actresses and here is a sneak peek of Meryl Streep as Margaret Thatcher in the upcoming film "The Iron Lady.”
The “Devil Wears Prada” star plays the former British prime minister, who became the first female to hold the position in 1979.
In the film, Margaret is “one of the 20th century’s most famous and influential women, [who] came from nowhere to smash through barriers of gender and class to be heard in a male dominated world,” according to the flick’s synopsis.
Also starring Harry Lloyd and Jim Broadbent, “The Iron Lady” is set to hit theaters in January 2012.
